Finally ready to start Re-Assembly

This is the power steering gearbox after a rebuild. I didn't need to change any of the internal parts, just bead blast it and paint.
I painted all the hardware after bead blasting. If you don't do this, rust will soon find the freshly surfaced metal. The real professional way to do this is to send all the nuts and bolts out for zinc or cadmium plating. I just couldn't see spending the extra money. I replaced all of the common sized nuts and bolts with fresh new ones, and used a fake golden cad painting kit on the rest.
Tada, This is the first part I put back after months of taking things off!! Lots more where that came from!!
Parts are getting put back now. It is much quicker going together than it was coming apart. The primary reason for this is that I did all the prep work as I took the car apart. I also organized all the parts and hardware so that I had batches of related parts in boxes. All I had to do was go in the attic and get the boxes I need, find the associated hardware in my hardware box, and put the parts on!
