Installing Air and Brake lines and more!

After the Suspension was back, I put the wheel cylinders and new flexible brake lines in place. This was easy and rewarding work.
I installed the rest of the brake parts, and the steering column.
Getting all of the brake and air ride lines back in place was a little bit more challenging. It took me a few hours to figure out exactly how the parts laid out and connected. I also had to try several different pieces of mounting hardware before I got everything back in order.
Here is the newly rebuilt master cylinder and vacuum booster. I replaced the original, (seen on cad3.html) with one from a junkyard. It looks much nicer now!
Even though I'm sending the engine out for rebuild, I am doing as much of the cosmetic work as possible. This before and after, really shows what is possible with a little hard work, and a bead cab.
The air ride suspension was removed on my car, However I plan at some point to reinstall it, so I am rebuilding and reinstalling all of the air valves. This is the master air valve with air lift. It regulates the flow to the other valves, and controls the lift feature.
This is the front air leveling valve. A linkage connects this valve to the front sway bar, as the car lowers, the valve opens and lets more air into the air springs, if the car rides to high, the valve lets air out of the springs. Pretty nifty!!

Taking out the Rear suspension!
