Engine pulling!!
Every engine has its day, and this one was ready to go in this shot. I
had to roll the car out of the garage, and put it up on jack stands so that the
transmission could drop freely. I rented a crane for $25, and took off the engine
mounting bolts etc. The next step was to put a jack under the transmission and
remove the support.
Now I've got the car up on stands and the bolts are off!! Next I need to hook up the crane.
The crane is in place and the jack is ready!! I called my next door neighbor
to give a hand. I got under the car and let down on the jack ever so slowly, while
he lifted on the crane.
And out she came!! No problem. Now I have to figure out how to get the
engine onto the stand!!
